# Go Mobility

> Vehicle rental on Margaret Island (Margitsziget), Budapest, Hungary. Operating since 2012.

Booking online gives 15% off the on-site price, until further notice.
Minimum rental 30 minutes. Maximum 3 hours online - longer by email.

## How booking works
An online booking is a PRE-PAID VOUCHER, not a reservation of a specific vehicle. It names a time slot, but no vehicle is held for it, and there is no penalty for arriving late or missing the slot - there is no need to tell us. On busy days you may wait, typically no more than 15 minutes.
Payment: online is card only. On site we accept card, cash and SZEP Kartya.

## Renting requirements
- A photo ID is held for the duration of the ride. Any photo ID except a passport - a driving licence, national ID card or student card all work.
- A cash deposit of up to 30,000 HUF may also be asked for, depending on the vehicle and the size of the group. Returned in full if the vehicle comes back in the same condition.
- No fixed minimum age and no licence required. Under-18s need an adult present.
- Helmets are not required and not issued by default, but are provided on request.
- The quadricycle is NOT suitable for more than two adults.
- No child seats, but children's bicycles are available in 2-3 sizes; availability varies.
- Pets are not banned, but there is no basket and no safe spot for them on the quadricycle.
- Larger groups: outside peak hours only, arranged in advance by email.

## Riding on Margaret Island
Most of the island is car-free. A single road crosses it, used by a bus line and permit-holding vehicles only. A lap of the island takes as little as 30 minutes if you are mainly riding; allow longer to stop at the sights. Shared scooters (Lime, Dott) may not be parked on the island.
